Curtis is mainly responsible for Iris’ construction and operations management, as well as handling and cultivating financial and community relationships. Prior to co-founding Iris, Curtis had a decade-long track record as a housing developer acquiring, rehabilitating, and managing a $3 million portfolio of residential real estate in Louisiana, often utilizing creative financing techniques to serve low- and moderate-income residents. Passionate about civic engagement in New Orleans, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Sustainable Real Estate Development program at Tulane University and serves as Vice President of the board of the Broadmoor Neighborhood Improvement Association.
